You know I love you and i'm not insane

I slept alone you left that night
Didn’t find you by my side
Once you left the sun never shined
So I thought you had the light
I cried and cried and I tried to hide
But you've been always at my sight
When you were there my life was bright
But now it’s getting darker inside
